Couro Wet Blue

This is the initial product, where the leather has merely been tanned with chromium. Wet Blue is leather tanned with chromium salts, where the leather is transformed into Semi-chrome, and is able to receive any type of finish.

The quality of the leather in the final finishing processes depends on pre-qualification in the WET BLUE stage, therefore, from the acquisition of the skins onwards, Viposa's concern is to maintain quality standards. Within the Wet Blue classifications, VIPOSA seeks to provides its customers with raw material that meets the standard of finish desired in the Finished Leather stage.
